One thing about Megan Thee Stallion? She loves a cut crease! But for the Met Gala red carpet, hot girl Meg elevated her staple eye look to match the occasion and I’m absolutely *obsessed* with the level of drama she was serving.

Step #1
While I prefer to do my makeup base first, you can do the eye look first and catch up with the skin after. It makes it easier since we’ll be working with black eyeshadow, which can be a bit messy. So safety first! Apply some shadow shields to help with the fallout and to keep your wings sharp.
Step #2
Prime your eyelids to hold your look in place. Using black eyeshadow – I love the shade ‘Just Black’ from the BPerfect x JAH Clientele Palette – and a small pencil brush, start plotting the shape of the dramatic wing on your eyelid. Don’t blend just yet! We’re just plotting the shape.
Step #3
After the black is in place, using a small blending brush, blend out the edges using a brown eyeshadow transition shade. Go back and forth between different browns and black in order to get the depth that suits your face.

Step #4
Now we cut the crease! Using a light-coloured concealer or eyeshadow primer (I used the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion) and a flat eyeshadow brush, carve out your crease. And not only in the beginning but all over your lid in a similar shape to the black eyeshadow. Don’t blend all the way to your lash line though – leave some of the black as eyeliner.
Step #5
Place your silver eyeshadow all over your concealer or primer base and go back to your black and brown shadows if needed. Once you’ve finished your shimmer shadow, add a liquid liner wing to your lash line. I used the Rimmel London Wonder Ink Ultimate Liner in ‘Black’.The shadow shield still comes in handy here to get a sharp line. Also, add some eyeliner to your lower lash line.
Step #6
Add some lashings of mascara and apply a set of false lashes. I love the Lash Me Baby lashes in ‘Flirt’. Remove your shadow shields, touch up the area where they sat and add a bit of highlighter – such as the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in ‘Cheeky Bronze’ – to your brow bone and voilà! You’re a Stallion, baby!
