Someone wise once said: “there’s always time for a cocktail”. And, I must say, I have to agree! Cocktails (or a Brutal Fruit!) are my favourite way to unwind with beautiful views and Friday-night girl talk.
Despite how complicated it might seem, I also love that cocktails can be super easy to make at home. This means you don’t have to go out to get your sundowner, even better. Have a cocktail party at your place and serve up these three pretty, pink, Instagrammable Brutal Fruit cocktails. Tell the girls to come ready to indulge.
Brutal Fruit Bellinis
A Bellini is a simple yet very elegant cocktail. It’s made by mixing your favourite brand of bubbles and peach purée. I wanted to keep this cocktail true to tradition by using only two ingredients.
Ingredients / Serves 4
4 teaspoons berry purée
4 chilled Brutal Fruits
Blackberries + raspberries, to garnish
How to Make Them
1. Place a teaspoon of berry purée into the bottom of 4 champagne flutes or tumblers.
2. Top-up the glasses with chilled Brutal Fruit.
3. Garnish with blackberries and raspberries and voilà!
Brutal Fruit Flower Pots
Who needs a jam jar when you could have a flower pot? This cocktail takes aesthetically pleasing to a new level but is surprisingly simple to make. Whip this up for the gals and watch the compliments come rolling in.
Ingredients / Serves 4
Edible flowers
4 teaspoons elderflower syrup
4 chilled Brutal Fruits
How to Make Them
1. Put the edible flowers into an ice tray with water to freeze overnight.
2. Fill 4 tumblers to the top with the flower-filled ice cubes and drizzle a teaspoon of elderflower syrup into each one.
3. Pour Brutal Fruit into each tumbler and enjoy.
Fruity Scoops
I’ve defs saved the best for last! This cocktail is my favourite because it’s fun and fruity – just like me! Sorbet in a cocktail might be a new one, but the burst of flavours and sublime texture make it perfect for a night in with the girls. Ching ching.
Ingredients / Serves 4
4 scoops berry sorbet
4 scoops granadilla sorbet
4 sprigs fresh thyme
4 chilled Brutal Fruits
How to Make Them

3. Top each glass with a Brutal Fruit. Bottoms up!
