Where to Eat in Joburg

Morning Glory Café

I am a *huge* breakfast girl and I believe it’s the best way to start, and end, the day! This café knows what it’s doing when it comes to brekkie, serving everything from New York-style waffles to cotton candy mimosas. On top of the amazing food, the rustic pink aesthetic adds to the experience, making it a spot for some gorgeous Instagram pics.

Where to Get Glammed Up

EVE Onboard

I have recently decided to dedicate more time to glamming up. Hair, nails.. you name it! It’s been easy to pamper myself more regularly since discovering my new fave glam spot, EVE Onboard. With luxurious manicure and pedicure bars , as well as a fresh decor aesthetic, getting glammed up has never been more enjoyable.

Zara, Mall of Africa

Shopping is definitely a must – it’s the City of Gold, after all! One of my top spots to shop ‘til I drop is Zara. This branch is huge and filled with all the latest and trendiest seasonal pieces. This store ensures that you always have an amazing shopping experience.

Where to Drink

Ethos

As an avid lover of cocktails, a good place for drinks is always part of my weekend itinerary. And very few restaurants come anywhere close to Ethos. With a full four-page menu dedicated to just cocktails alone, there couldn’t be a better spot to visit for Saturday sundowners and tapas. My favourite thing about their options is the wide variety of flavours. Cheers to that!

Saint Sunday

If you ask anyone from Joburg about ‘Saint Sundays', they’ll know what you’re talking about. Although hosted in a restaurant, on Sundays the space is transformed into the perfect party spot, including good music and amazing food that make for an unforgettable experience.
